I live in Oklahoma. I work full-time and write this blog for fun and also to help promote our small sign/furniture refinishing hobby.
No one pays me to write this blog or tells me what to say. I ramble just fine all on my own. However, I do place ads on my blogs {Google Adsense} and am also a member of BlogHer, which is a company who also places ads on my blog and I am paid a small percentage from those ads. From time to time I may review a product and receive product/compensation for that review but will give you my honest opinion when I do one and let you know at the bottom of the post that I am being compensated for that post. Just know that if there is a way to make a little extra cash off of this blogging venture then I'm game. However, per the FTC I am required to disclose that this is a for-profit blog. Meaning that I am able to make money in a variety of ways including advertising, sponsored posts and affiliate links. I blog because it's fun, you can make tons of new friends and I love it, but it also costs money for hosting fees, camera stuff, craft/painting supplies, etc. All of that can really add up, so if I'm able to make money from this blog in order to recoup some of those costs I will. I also make money from the sale of signs advertised on this blog. I make the signs as a hobby and sell them here on this blog and locally. I want to be transparent in the ways I earn money from this blog, so if you have questions...just ask. I'll tell you.
